How it works
- Choose a voice: Vovy opens the ElevenLabs Voice Library, plays a few voices that fit your brand, and saves the voice ID you pick.
- Create an API key: Vovy creates a key with only text-to-speech access and stores it as a server secret, never in your frontend.
- Add a speech function: Vovy asks Claude Code for a server function that sends text and your voice ID to ElevenLabs and streams back MP3 audio.
- Play it in the app: Claude Code adds a play button that streams the audio, so speech starts before the whole file is generated.
- Estimate your cost: Vovy reads your credit usage for the tests and shows a card estimating monthly cost at your expected usage.
