Find out if it's my app or my host that's down | Vovy
Vovy checks your host, database and auth providers' status pages, tests your app from your Mac, and tells you in one card whether to fix or wait.
My app is down, is it me or is Vercel or Supabase having an outage?
How it works
- Test your app directly: Vovy loads your homepage and one API route and records the status code, so you know exactly what is failing.
- Check Vercel's status page: It opens vercel-status.com and looks for incidents in your region or on builds, functions or the edge network.
- Check Supabase and other providers: It checks status.supabase.com for your project's region, plus Cloudflare, Stripe or your auth provider if your app uses them.
- Check your recent changes: If every provider is green, Vovy looks at your latest deploy and DNS changes, the two most common self-inflicted outages.
- Give you the verdict: A card says who is at fault, what to do now, and a short message you can post to your users.
What you provide
- Your app URL
- The services your app uses, if you know them
What you get
- Status of every provider you use

FAQ
What if the provider's status page says everything is fine?
Status pages sometimes lag behind real incidents by several minutes. Vovy also checks whether other people are reporting problems.
Can I do anything during a provider outage?
Usually not much beyond telling users. A status page and a cached static homepage help next time.
What if it's a DNS problem?
Vovy checks your DNS records resolve to the right host. Recent changes can take minutes to hours to spread worldwide.
