Vovy exposes your dev server on your Wi-Fi network, finds your Mac's local IP, and gives you a QR code to open the app on your phone.
Open the app running on my Mac on my iPhone so I can test the mobile layout
How it works
- Check your dev server: Vovy sees which dev server is running. By default most only listen on localhost, which only your Mac can reach.
- Share it on your network: Vovy restarts it with the host flag, like vite --host, so other devices on the same Wi-Fi can connect.
- Handle the firewall prompt: If macOS asks whether to allow incoming connections for node, Vovy points you to Allow. You click it yourself.
- Show a QR code: Vovy finds your Mac's local address, like 192.168.1.20:5173, and shows it as a QR code card for your phone camera.
- Fix what breaks on mobile: If sign-in or API calls fail on the phone, Vovy explains why, usually a redirect URL or localhost hardcoded in the code.

FAQ
Can other people on the Wi-Fi see my app?
Yes, anyone on the same network who knows the address. Use it on home or trusted networks, and stop the server when done.
Why does login not work on my phone?
Auth providers only redirect to URLs you have allowed. Your local IP address usually needs adding to the allowed list.
Does this work on café Wi-Fi?
Often not, because public networks block devices from talking to each other. A tunnel service is the workaround.
