Vovy installs ESLint, Prettier, Tailwind CSS IntelliSense and friends in Cursor or VS Code, and turns on format on save so code stays tidy.
Install the extensions I need for a React and Tailwind project in Cursor
How it works
- Read your project: Vovy checks package.json for React, Tailwind, Prisma or Supabase so it only suggests extensions you will use.
- Install the core extensions: Vovy installs ESLint, which flags mistakes as you type, Prettier, which formats code, and Tailwind CSS IntelliSense, which autocompletes class names.
- Turn on format on save: Vovy sets Editor: Format On Save and makes Prettier the default formatter, so every save cleans up spacing automatically.
- Add a recommendations file: Vovy writes .vscode/extensions.json, so collaborators get a prompt to install the same set.
- Show what each one does: A card lists each extension with a one-line description and a screenshot of it working in your code.

FAQ
Will Prettier rewrite my whole project?
Only files you save get formatted. You can format everything at once later, ideally in its own commit.
Why are there red squiggles everywhere now?
ESLint is showing issues that were always there. Most are harmless, and Vovy can explain or fix the real ones.
Are extensions safe?
Stick to well-known publishers with many installs. Extensions can run code on your Mac, so avoid obscure ones.
