Install flyctl, run fly launch to generate a fly.toml, set secrets, and deploy your app to a Fly.io region near your users.
Launch this app on Fly.io and walk me through fly launch
How it works
- Install the Fly command-line tool: flyctl is Fly's Terminal app. Vovy installs it with Homebrew and runs fly auth login, which opens a browser for you to sign in.
- Run fly launch: Vovy runs fly launch in your project folder. Fly detects your framework, writes a fly.toml settings file, and suggests a region.
- Set your secrets: Vovy runs fly secrets set for each value in your .env, so keys are stored encrypted on Fly instead of in your code.
- Deploy: Vovy asks, then runs fly deploy and narrates the image build and machine start. It explains any health check failure in plain words.
- Open the live app: Vovy opens your fly.dev URL, then shows a card with your region, machine size, and how auto-stop keeps idle costs low.
What you provide

FAQ
Is Fly.io free?
New accounts pay as they go, with billing for machines and storage used. Small apps with auto-stop turned on often cost a few dollars a month.
What's a region?
It's the city where your server runs. Picking one near your users makes the app feel faster.
What if my app needs a database?
You can create a Postgres database on Fly or connect an outside one like Supabase or Neon using a connection string secret.
