Turn your app's screens into a clean set of Postgres tables with the right columns, relationships and IDs, created in Supabase.
Look at my app and create the Supabase tables it needs
How it works
- Read your app's screens: Vovy looks through your app, or your Figma file, and lists the things it stores: users, projects, orders, messages.
- Draw the tables: A diagram card shows each table, its columns, and how they link. A foreign key is a column that points at a row in another table.
- Pick the right column types: Vovy chooses types like uuid for IDs, timestamptz for dates, and numeric for money, and explains why text for everything causes bugs later.
- Create the tables: Vovy asks, then creates the tables as a migration file so the change is saved in your repo, with RLS turned on from the start.
- Show them in Table Editor: Vovy opens Supabase's Table Editor with your new tables and adds one example row to each, so you can see the shape of your data.
What you provide
- Your app or a description of it
- A Supabase project
What you get
- A table diagram card
- Tables created with sensible types
- A migration file in your repo
- RLS on from day one
FAQ
Can I change the tables later?
Yes. Adding columns is easy. Renaming or deleting them needs care once you have real data, which Vovy handles with migrations.
Should I store everything in one table?
No. Splitting things like users and orders into separate linked tables avoids duplicate data and makes queries faster.
Why uuid instead of numbers for IDs?
UUIDs are hard to guess, so people can't flip through /orders/1, /orders/2 to find other users' data.
