Vovy reads your failed build log, reproduces the error on your Mac, fixes the TypeScript, import or dependency problem, and gets the deploy green.
My Vercel deploy failed with a build error, fix it
How it works
- Read the build log: Vovy opens the failed deployment in Vercel and jumps to the first red error, not the last line, which is usually just "Command npm run build exited with 1".
- Reproduce it on your Mac: It runs npm ci and npm run build in Terminal. If it fails the same way, the fix can be tested before pushing.
- Explain the error: A card translates it: a TypeScript type error, a "Module not found" import, an ESLint rule, or a package mismatch in package-lock.json.
- Fix it in Cursor: Cursor makes the smallest change that fixes it, and Vovy reruns the build until it passes locally.
- Push and watch the deploy: Vovy commits and pushes after you approve, then watches the new Vercel deployment until it shows Ready.

FAQ
Why does it build locally but fail on Vercel?
Common reasons: a different Node version, a missing env variable used at build time, or file name capitalization that macOS ignores and Linux does not.
Should I just turn off TypeScript errors?
You can, but it hides real bugs. Vovy fixes the actual type error unless you ask otherwise.
Is my live site down while the build fails?
No. A failed build never replaces your current live deployment.
