Vovy enables Vercel Speed Insights, adds the package to your app, and shows real visitors' Core Web Vitals by page and device.
Turn on Vercel Speed Insights so I can see real user speed
How it works
- Enable Speed Insights: Vovy opens your Vercel project, goes to the Speed Insights tab and clicks Enable. It explains any plan limits before you confirm.
- Install the package: It runs npm i @vercel/speed-insights in Terminal. This small script measures each real visit and reports back.
- Add it to your layout: Cursor adds the SpeedInsights component to your root layout or main App file, the one line that turns tracking on.
- Deploy and check data: After the next deploy, Vovy visits a few pages to trigger the first data points and waits for them in the dashboard.
- Read the report with you: A card explains your Real Experience Score and which routes are slow on mobile, so you know where to look first.

FAQ
How is this different from PageSpeed?
PageSpeed simulates one visit. Speed Insights measures your actual visitors on their real phones and networks.
Does it slow my site?
The script is tiny and sends data after the page loads, so visitors will not notice.
Does it need a cookie banner?
Vercel says Speed Insights does not use cookies or track individuals, but check with your own privacy policy.
