Map old URLs to new ones, add 301 redirects in your host's config, and keep your Google rankings and shared links working.
I changed my page URLs, redirect all the old links so nothing breaks
How it works
- Collect your old URLs: Vovy pulls old URLs from your previous sitemap and Search Console's Pages report, so it catches the ones Google and people use.
- Map old to new in a sheet: Vovy builds a Google Sheet with each old URL and its best match on the new site. You review the guesses before anything ships.
- Write the redirect rules: Vovy turns the sheet into redirects in vercel.json, marked permanent so search engines pass your ranking to the new pages.
- Deploy the redirects: Vovy asks, pushes the change, and waits for the deploy to finish.
- Test every old URL: Vovy visits each old URL and fills the sheet with the result: redirected, correct target, or still broken.
What you provide

FAQ
Why not just redirect everything to the homepage?
Google treats mass homepage redirects like broken pages, and visitors land somewhere unhelpful. One-to-one matches keep rankings.
How many redirects can Vercel handle?
vercel.json supports up to 2,048 routes per deployment. Bigger lists need pattern rules or Vercel's bulk redirects feature.
How long should I keep them?
At least a year, and ideally forever. Old links in emails and other sites keep working that way.
