Use Vercel's Instant Rollback to restore the last working deployment in seconds, then find what broke without users watching.
I just shipped something broken, roll my site back to the last good version
How it works
- Open your deployments list: Vovy opens your Vercel project's Deployments tab and highlights the current production deployment and the one before it.
- Pick the last good version: Vovy shows a card comparing the two: commit message, time, and who pushed. You confirm which one was working.
- Run Instant Rollback: Vovy asks, then chooses Instant Rollback. Your domain points back to the old build in seconds without rebuilding anything.
- Check the live site: Vovy loads your domain and confirms the old version is back and the error is gone.
- Explain what to do next: A card lists the commits that caused the problem and explains that new pushes won't go live automatically until you undo the rollback or promote a fixed deploy.
What you provide
- Access to your Vercel project
- Which version was working, if you know
What you get
- Site restored in under a minute
- The commits that broke it
- Clear steps to ship the fix
FAQ
Does rollback delete my new code?
No. Your code on GitHub stays exactly as it is. Only which build your domain serves changes.
Can I roll back further than one version?
On Vercel's free Hobby plan you can only roll back to the previous production deployment. Pro lets you pick any earlier one.
Does it roll back my database too?
No. Rollback only affects your app's code. If a deploy changed your database, that needs its own fix.
