How it works
- Pick what to charge for: A card compares per-use billing, prepaid credit packs, and a base plan with included usage, with example bills for each.
- Create a meter: Vovy creates a meter under Billing, Meters in Stripe, which counts events like ai_generation per customer.
- Add a usage-based price: It adds a price tied to the meter, like 5 cents per generation, billed at the end of each month.
- Report usage from your app: In Cursor Vovy sends a meter event from your server after each generation, and logs it in Supabase so you can check totals.
- Preview an invoice: It runs test generations and shows the customer's upcoming invoice with the usage line next to your own log.
