Vovy creates your subscription plans in Stripe, adds subscribe buttons, and saves each user's plan so your app knows who's paid.
Set up a $12 a month Pro plan with Stripe
How it works
- Create monthly and yearly prices: Vovy adds a Pro product in Stripe's Product catalog with a recurring monthly price and an optional yearly price.
- Add a plan column for users: It adds a subscriptions table in Supabase linking each user to their Stripe customer ID, plan and status.
- Build subscription checkout: In Cursor Vovy writes a server function that creates a Checkout Session in subscription mode and attaches the logged-in user's ID.
- Unlock Pro features: It adds a check that reads the user's status and shows Pro features only when it's active or trialing.
- Subscribe with a test card: Vovy subscribes a test user in Chrome and shows a card of the new customer, subscription and next billing date in Stripe.
