Vovy pulls up the dispute, gathers your evidence like login history and receipts, and submits a clear response in Stripe before it's due.
A customer disputed a charge, help me respond in Stripe
How it works
- Open the dispute: Vovy opens Disputes in Stripe and shows a card with the amount, the reason like fraudulent or product not received, and the respond-by date.
- Gather usage evidence: It pulls the customer's sign up date and login activity from Supabase, which shows they used what they paid for.
- Collect receipts and terms: Vovy collects the receipt, your refund policy and any emails with the customer.
- Draft the response: It fills Stripe's evidence form with a short factual summary matched to the dispute reason, and shows it to you to review.
- Submit the evidence: Once you approve, Vovy submits. You get one chance to respond, so it asks first.

FAQ
What does a dispute cost?
Stripe charges a dispute fee, $15 in the US, and holds the disputed amount until the bank decides.
How long until I hear back?
Banks often take 60 to 75 days to decide after you submit.
Should I refund instead?
Once a dispute is open you can't refund that payment. For future cases, refunding quickly usually costs less than a dispute.
