Add your domain in Vercel, set the A and CNAME records at your registrar, and get a working HTTPS site on your own name.
Connect my domain to my Vercel project and fix the DNS for me
How it works
- Add the domain in Vercel: Vovy opens your project, then Settings, then Domains, and clicks Add Domain. It adds both yourdomain.com and www, since Vercel suggests www as the main one.
- Read the records Vercel wants: DNS is the address book that points your domain at your app. Vovy copies the exact A record and your project's unique CNAME value that Vercel shows, instead of old values from a blog post.
- Open your registrar's DNS page: Vovy opens where you bought the domain, like Namecheap's Advanced DNS tab. If a login wall appears, you sign in and Vovy waits.
- Replace the conflicting records: Parked-page records clash with Vercel's. Vovy shows which ones it will remove, asks, then adds the A record for @ and the CNAME for www.
- Wait for Valid Configuration: Vovy refreshes Vercel's Domains page until both entries turn green and the SSL certificate is issued, then shows a card with your live HTTPS link.

FAQ
How long until my domain works?
Often within minutes, but DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to reach everyone. Vovy keeps checking and tells you when Vercel marks it valid.
Will this break my email?
Not if only the A and CNAME records change. Vovy leaves your MX records, the ones that route email, alone.
Do I have to move my domain to Vercel?
No. Your domain stays at Namecheap, GoDaddy or Cloudflare. You only point two records at Vercel.
