Link your Lovable project to a Supabase project you own, so your data, logins and keys live in your account and move with you.
Connect my Lovable project to my own Supabase account
How it works
- Check how the app stores data today: Vovy opens your Lovable project and checks whether it uses Lovable's built-in Cloud backend or no backend yet, since that changes the path.
- Create or pick a Supabase project: Vovy creates a Supabase project in your account, or picks an existing one, in a region near your users.
- Connect through Lovable's integration: Vovy opens Lovable's Supabase integration and clicks Connect. You approve access to your Supabase organization yourself.
- Check tables and security: Vovy opens Supabase, checks the tables Lovable created, and runs the Security Advisor to catch any table without RLS.
- Confirm the app works: Vovy loads your Lovable preview, signs up a test user, saves a record, and shows it in Supabase's Table Editor.

FAQ
Why use my own Supabase instead of Lovable Cloud?
Your own project gives you full dashboard access, direct database control, and makes it easier to move off Lovable later.
Will I lose data already in Lovable Cloud?
Connecting a new project doesn't copy existing data over. Vovy can export and import it as a separate step.
Does this cost extra?
Supabase's Free plan works for testing. You'd pay Supabase directly for Pro, starting at $25 a month.
