Clean up a CSV or Excel export, match columns to your table, import it into Supabase, and check that every row made it.
Import this CSV of customers into a Supabase table
How it works
- Open and check the file: Vovy opens your CSV and flags problems before import: blank headers, mixed date formats, duplicate emails, and commas inside numbers.
- Clean it up: Vovy fixes the issues in a copy, so your original stays untouched, and shows a before and after table.
- Match columns to your table: Vovy compares CSV headers with your table's columns and types. If there's no table yet, Table Editor can create one from the file.
- Import the rows: Vovy asks, then uses Table Editor's Import data from CSV option, or SQL for large files.
- Verify every row landed: Vovy compares the row count in the file with the table and lists any rows that failed and why.

FAQ
Can I import an Excel file?
Save or export it as CSV first. Vovy can do that from Google Sheets or Numbers.
Why did my import fail on dates?
Postgres expects dates like 2026-09-24. Formats like 9/24/26 often fail, so Vovy converts them first.
Will importing again create duplicates?
It can. Vovy checks for rows already in the table, using something unique like email, before importing.
