Plan and start an Expo version of your web app that reuses your Supabase backend, so you ship a native app instead of a thin website wrapper.
I have a Lovable web app. Make an iPhone and Android version with Expo
How it works
- Map your web app's screens: Vovy opens your Lovable app, clicks through every page, and builds a flow graph of screens and what each one does.
- Pick what goes mobile first: A card suggests the 3 to 5 screens that matter on a phone and what to leave on the web, like admin pages or billing settings.
- Create the Expo project: Vovy runs npx create-expo-app@latest with Expo Router, which gives you file-based screens and tabs like your web routes.
- Connect the same Supabase backend: Vovy asks Claude Code to add supabase-js with secure session storage and your public anon key, so mobile and web share users and data.
- Rebuild your first screen natively: Claude Code recreates your main screen with React Native components. Vovy opens it in the Simulator next to the web version for comparison.
What you provide
- Your Lovable app and its GitHub repo
- Your Supabase project URL and anon key
- Xcode and Expo set up
What you get
- A screen map of your web app
- An Expo project sharing your backend
- Your first native screen running
FAQ
Can I just wrap my website in an app?
Apple often rejects apps that are just a website in a frame under guideline 4.2. A real native app avoids that.
Can I reuse my web code?
Your backend, database and business logic, yes. The UI must be rebuilt, since React Native uses different components than HTML.
Will users need separate accounts?
No. Both apps use the same Supabase Auth, so one login works everywhere.
