Vovy turns on PostHog session replay with private fields masked, finds sessions with rage clicks or drop-offs, and summarizes what users struggled with.
Turn on session replay and show me where users get stuck
How it works
- Turn on session replay: Vovy opens PostHog project settings and enables Session replay. It's a recording of clicks and scrolls rebuilt from the page, not a video of the screen.
- Mask private data: It checks that inputs are masked and has Cursor add a ph-no-capture class to anything sensitive, like billing details.
- Find the painful sessions: After real traffic comes in, it filters recordings for rage clicks, errors and people who left during onboarding.
- Watch the key moments: Vovy jumps to the moments that matter in each recording and notes what went wrong, like a button that looks clickable but isn't.
- Summarize the patterns: You get a table of the top issues, how many sessions showed each, and links to the exact recordings.

FAQ
Is this creepy or legal?
It's common, but disclose it in your privacy policy, mask personal data, and get consent for EU visitors.
Will it slow my app?
Recording adds a small script. You can sample, recording only a share of sessions, if performance matters.
How many recordings are free?
PostHog's free tier includes 5,000 recordings a month. You can set a billing limit so you're never surprised.
