Vovy adds PostHog to your app, tracks your key actions like signup and purchase, and proves each event lands before you trust the numbers.
Install PostHog in my app and make sure events are coming through
How it works
- Create your PostHog project: Vovy opens posthog.com, you sign in yourself, and it picks US or EU hosting and copies your project API key, the public key the script uses.
- Add posthog-js to your app: Cursor installs posthog-js and adds the provider to your root layout. Autocapture then records pageviews and clicks with no extra code.
- Track your key actions: It adds named events like signed_up and checkout_completed, and identify() on login so events tie to a person, not an anonymous browser.
- Add the key to Vercel: The key and host go into Vercel's Environment Variables so tracking works live, then Vovy redeploys.
- Prove every event lands: Vovy clicks through signup on your live site and watches PostHog's live events, then shows a checklist card of each event with a green tick.
What you provide

FAQ
Is PostHog free?
The free tier covers 1 million events and 5,000 session recordings a month. You only pay for usage above that, and you can set billing limits.
Will ad blockers hide my users?
Some will. PostHog supports a reverse proxy through your own domain, which recovers most blocked events. Vovy can set that up too.
US or EU hosting?
Pick EU if most of your users are in Europe and you want data kept there for GDPR. You can't move a project later without migrating.
