Vovy watches your tracking fire in real time, finds the duplicate tag or double-firing code, and fixes it so your numbers are trustworthy again.
My analytics shows double the pageviews, find what's firing twice
How it works
- Watch events fire: Vovy loads a page with the Network tab filtered to collect calls and counts how many pageview hits one visit sends.
- Look for duplicate tags: It checks for the same GA4 ID installed twice, for example in index.html and through a plugin or Google Tag Manager.
- Check double pageview logic: It checks whether your code sends manual page_view events while GA4's enhanced measurement already tracks route changes.
- Rule out dev-only doubles: React Strict Mode runs effects twice in development only. Vovy confirms whether the double shows up in production too, before changing code.
- Fix and recount: Cursor removes the duplicate, and Vovy repeats the test, showing a card with hits per visit before and after.

FAQ
Can I fix the past data?
No. Historical data stays doubled, so add an annotation on the date you fixed it and compare trends from then on.
Why does it only double in development?
React Strict Mode intentionally runs effects twice in dev to catch bugs. That doesn't happen in production builds.
Does this affect my ad conversions?
It can. Double-firing conversion tags make ads look better than they are, so Vovy checks those too.
