Vovy creates your product in Stripe, adds a secure Checkout button to your app, and runs a test payment so you see money flow before going live.
Add a Buy button that charges $29 with Stripe
How it works
- Create the product and price: Vovy opens Product catalog in your Stripe sandbox, adds your product with a $29 one-time price, and copies the price ID, which starts with price_.
- Store the keys safely: It copies the sandbox secret key into your server's environment variables. The secret key must never go in browser code, only the publishable key can.
- Add a checkout endpoint: In Cursor Vovy writes a small server function that creates a Checkout Session, Stripe's hosted payment page, with success and cancel URLs.
- Wire up the Buy button: It connects your button to the endpoint and adds a thank you page for the success URL.
- Pay with a test card: Vovy pays in Chrome with Stripe's test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 and shows the payment in your Stripe Transactions list.

FAQ
What does Stripe charge?
In the US it's 2.9% plus 30 cents per successful card payment, with no monthly fee. Other countries have their own rates.
Why not just put the price in my frontend?
Anyone could change it in the browser. Prices come from Stripe on the server, so customers pay what you set.
Does the test payment cost me anything?
No. Sandbox payments use fake cards and no money moves.
