Vovy moves your products, keys and webhooks from the Stripe sandbox to live, checks nothing still points at test mode, and runs a real $1 charge.
I'm ready to go live, switch my Stripe setup to live mode
How it works
- Check your account is activated: Vovy opens your live Stripe account and confirms business details, bank account and identity checks are complete.
- Recreate products in live: Sandbox products don't carry over, so it recreates each product and price in live mode and lists the new price IDs.
- Add a live webhook: Vovy registers your production webhook in live mode and copies its new whsec_ secret, which is different from the sandbox one.
- Swap keys in production: It replaces sk_test_ and pk_test_ keys and price IDs with live ones in Vercel's Production environment only, so previews keep using the sandbox.
- Hunt for leftover test values: Vovy searches your code in Cursor for hardcoded test keys and price IDs.
- Run a real $1 charge: It makes a small real purchase with your card, confirms the webhook fired, then refunds it and shows a go-live checklist card.

FAQ
What's the difference between a sandbox and test mode?
Sandboxes are Stripe's newer isolated test accounts, each with its own keys, data and webhooks. Test mode is the older test view of your live account. Both use fake money.
Why do I get "No such price" after going live?
Your code still uses a sandbox price ID. Live mode has different IDs for everything.
Is the $1 test charge free?
The refund returns the $1, but Stripe keeps its small processing fee.
