Vovy opens a pull request with a plain-English summary, waits for checks and previews, and merges into main after you approve.
Open a PR for my branch, summarize the changes, and merge it when checks pass
How it works
- Compare your branch: Vovy compares your branch with main and turns the diff into a short summary of what changed and why.
- Open the pull request: Vovy opens a PR with that summary. A pull request is a proposal to merge one branch into another, with a place to review first.
- Wait for checks: Vovy watches the Checks tab and your host's preview deploy, and explains any red X in plain English.
- Merge it: Vovy uses Squash and merge so main gets one clean commit, then deletes the branch. This ships to production, so it asks first.
- Confirm it is live: Vovy confirms the production deploy finished and shows a card linking the PR, the commit and the live site.

FAQ
Do I need a PR if I work alone?
It is optional, but PRs give you a preview, automated checks and an easy Revert button if something goes wrong.
Squash, merge or rebase?
Squash and merge combines your branch into one commit on main, which keeps history readable for most small teams.
Why can't I merge?
Branch protection may require passing checks or a review, or there are merge conflicts. The PR page says which.
