Vovy uses GitHub's Revert button to create a pull request that undoes the bad merge, so your app goes back to working while you fix the bug.
The PR I merged broke production, revert it on GitHub
How it works
- Find the merge that broke it: Vovy lines up recent merges on main with the time errors started, and shows the likely culprit as a timeline card.
- Click Revert: On the merged pull request, Vovy clicks Revert. GitHub creates a new branch and a pull request that undoes those changes.
- Check the preview: If your host builds previews, like Vercel, Vovy opens the revert PR's preview link and checks the app loads.
- Merge the revert: Vovy merges the revert PR into main. This touches production, so it waits for your OK.
- Confirm production is back: Vovy watches the new deploy finish, loads your live site, and shows a card with what was undone and how to reapply it once fixed.
What you provide

FAQ
Does reverting delete the original code?
No. The original PR and its commits stay in history. The revert just adds a commit that undoes them.
Why is there no Revert button?
It only appears on merged pull requests, and not for some merge types or when the revert would conflict. Vovy can run git revert locally instead.
Would a Vercel rollback be faster?
Instant rollback in Vercel restores the site in seconds, but your code on main is still broken. Reverting fixes both.
