Restore a Supabase project paused for inactivity, get your app back online, and stop it from pausing again.
My Supabase project got paused and my app is down, bring it back
How it works
- Confirm it's paused: Vovy opens your Supabase dashboard and checks the project's status. Your app likely shows failed to fetch errors because the database is asleep.
- Restore the project: Vovy asks, then clicks Restore project. Your data is still there; the database just needs a few minutes to start.
- Wait for it to come back: Vovy watches until the project shows healthy, then loads your app and confirms data loads again.
- Explain why it paused: A card explains that Free plan projects pause after 7 days with no database activity, and that restoring is only possible for a limited time.
- Keep it from happening again: Vovy shows your options: upgrade to Pro so it never pauses, or accept the risk for side projects.
What you provide

FAQ
Did I lose my data?
No. Pausing keeps your data. If a project stays paused too long, dashboard restore goes away, but you can still download a backup.
How do I stop it pausing?
Pro projects never pause for inactivity. Pinging it on a timer to fake activity goes against the spirit of the Free plan, so Vovy doesn't recommend it.
Why can't I restore it?
The Free plan allows 2 active projects. If you already have 2, pause or delete one first, or upgrade.
