Vovy builds a weekly retention chart from your analytics, explains what the curve means, and compares users who did your key action with those who didn't.
Show me my retention: how many users come back week after week
How it works
- Choose what counts as coming back: Vovy helps you pick a real value event, like created_project, rather than just logging in, so retention means people are using it.
- Build the retention report: It opens Retention, sets the starting event to signed_up and the return event to your value action, grouped by week.
- Read the curve: A card explains the shape: a curve that flattens means a core group sticks. A curve that keeps falling to zero means nobody stays.
- Compare two cohorts: It builds cohorts, groups of users who share a behavior, like invited a teammate versus didn't, and compares their retention.
- Save the weekly view: Vovy saves the report to a dashboard and copies the key numbers to a Sheet so you can track the trend.

FAQ
What's good retention?
It depends on the product. The key sign is a curve that flattens out rather than dropping to zero.
I only launched last week. Is this useful yet?
Not yet. You need at least three or four weekly cohorts before the pattern means anything.
What do I do with the result?
If users who do one action stay much longer, make that action easier to reach in onboarding.
