Unlock your domain, get the authorization code, and transfer it from GoDaddy to Cloudflare Registrar for at-cost renewals.
Transfer my domain from GoDaddy to Cloudflare Registrar
How it works
- Check the domain can move: Vovy checks the domain's registration date. Domains registered or transferred in the last 60 days can't be moved yet.
- Put DNS on Cloudflare first: Cloudflare Registrar requires the domain to use Cloudflare nameservers. If it doesn't yet, Vovy moves the DNS first so nothing breaks.
- Unlock and get the auth code: In GoDaddy's domain settings, Vovy turns off Transfer lock and requests the authorization code, a password that proves you own it.
- Start the transfer: Vovy opens Cloudflare's Transfer Domains page, enters the code, and shows the price. You confirm and pay yourself.
- Approve and track it: Vovy watches for GoDaddy's approval email and helps you approve it early, then shows a card tracking the transfer to completion.

FAQ
Will my site go down during the transfer?
No, as long as DNS is already on Cloudflare. The transfer changes who bills you, not where the domain points.
Do I lose the time I already paid for?
No. A transfer adds one year to your current expiry date, and you pay for that year.
How long does it take?
Up to five days, or faster if you approve the release in GoDaddy's email.
