Vovy installs the Meta Pixel, sends the same events from your server with the Conversions API, dedupes them, and checks them in Test Events.
Install the Meta pixel and CAPI so my Facebook ads track signups
How it works
- Create your dataset in Events Manager: Vovy opens Meta Events Manager, you sign in, and it connects a Web data source, then copies the Pixel ID.
- Install the browser Pixel: Cursor adds the Pixel base code and fires standard events like CompleteRegistration and Purchase at the right moments.
- Add the Conversions API: It adds a server route that sends the same events straight to Meta, which ad blockers and iOS privacy settings can't stop. The access token goes in Vercel.
- Deduplicate the events: Both copies get the same event_id so Meta counts one signup, not two. Hashed email improves match quality.
- Verify in Test Events: Vovy uses the Test Events tab, signs up on your site, and shows a card with browser and server events received and deduplicated.

FAQ
Why do I need CAPI if I have the Pixel?
Browser tracking misses a lot because of ad blockers and iOS privacy. Server events fill the gaps, so Meta optimizes on more real conversions.
Is it privacy-safe?
Emails and phone numbers are hashed before sending. You still need a privacy policy and, for EU visitors, consent.
How long until ads use the data?
Events show in Test Events instantly. Meta's optimization gets better as conversions add up, usually after dozens per week.
